Rich Muller, MBA

In 2004 Rich Muller, MBA  founded The Business Development Portal – a nationwide consulting firm headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN specializing in small business start-up guidance and support. Rich has 35 years sales and business development experience as an executive and entrepreneur – with emphasis in video and subscription marketing. His core business philosophy and brand is “Maximizing Your Return On Knowledge” – which interconnects the three elements of getting paid for selling What you know – to Who you know – and receiving Maximum Income in return.

Rich was instrumental in launching ROK Labs, ROK Consultants and the Successful Professionals Network. Rich established several Meetup Groups, including:

  • ROK Consultants
  • Video Bursts
  • Economic Independence Day
  • Career Rediscovery

His background includes executive-level involvements at DirecTV, Buford Television, Times Mirror and many other communications companies.   His community volunteer activities include the SCORE organization, the Small Business Administration and the Minnesota WorkForce Centers.  In recent years he has been on the Board of Directors of the Twin Cities Entrepreneurs and the American Association of Microbusinesses.

In November, 2006 Ron Wacks and Rich Muller founded the influential small business market research firm Microbusiness Strategies, LLC.

Rich has both a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California.  He was born in Hollywood, CA and grew up in Encino and Newport Beach, CA.  He currently resides in Minneapolis, MN.

Hi Rich.
I am in the process of starting an equine-assisted growth and learning business, which will likely be called Equine Encounters. ".com" is my preferred website extension, and I see EquineEncounters.com may be registered to you and / or John Grozik. It does not look like it has been updated in awhile. Might you have interest in selling the domain?
